The easiest way to be able to explore the Whitsundays is by hiring your own car or scooter. That way you can travel anywhere, like to the cinema or beaches in Bowen (shown below), the waterfront drive at Hideaway Bay or to the Coral Beach bushwalk at Shute Harbour.

The Hertz car rental agency is located in the main street of Airlie Beach, near the round about as you first drive into the town, as shown in the map below. The address is 342 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach and it is open from 8.00am to 5.00pm weekdays and 8.00am to 2.30pm on the weekend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Absolutely fantastic stay in Airlie Beach. The house was perfect, beautifully presented, spacious, and equipped with excellent amenities. Everything we needed was provided, making the stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing.The location was also excellent, with easy access to everything Airlie Beach has to offer while still feeling private and luxurious.A beautiful property in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Airlie Beach. We would definitely stay again!

'Island Time' - Whitsunday Waterfront Apartment
This apartment nailed it. The location is unbeatable, just a short stroll to the lagoon and right near Main Street, so we could walk to dinner, drinks, and the waterfront without any hassle. The place itself was stylish and clean, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, no last minute runs to the shop for basics. Great vibe overall, relaxed and easy, which is exactly what you want on a beach trip. Would happily stay again.

Whitsunday living on Hillcrest by the Beach
Our stay at this property was amazing. The house is big so we didn't feel on top of each other. Beds were pretty comfortable. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The hosts were fabulous and easy to deal with.

Loved the property. Wish the pool was warmer to swim in but it was August and we were coming from vic alpine.Spacious, clean and well equipped and very private with the most beautiful view of the harbour.

This was the best place we stayed on our 3 week trip, we loved it.Everything about the property was fantastic, the location, the view, the facilities, the living accommodation. The staff were very responsive and accommodating. We couldn’t fault any of it and our family loved it.

Amazing location,the hill was a killer even thou it was only a 15 min walk it's sooo steep , but definitely worth the view was Spectacular there's nowhere in Airlie beach you would get 360 degree Views So Special 😍

'Sail Away' Airlie Beach house with Private Pool!
My wife and I had a wonderful 10 days at this property in Airlie Beach.We had our 2 dogs with us and they had plenty of room to run around as well as the walking tracks joining Airlie Beach to Cannonvale. The house is perfectly located with great views and easy walking into the Airlie restaurants and shopping.The hosts were very responsive to the couple of small issues we had with the pool and the fridge.I highly recommend this house and will be looking to book again next year when we have our Melbourne Winter escape
