Whitsunday Sailing Club holds twilight races on most Wednesday afternoons during the year.

The race is scheduled to start at 1630hrs and all members and visiting yachts are welcome to join in. Entry is $15 per race and entry forms are available at club reception.

If you are new to Airlie Beach, or would like to join us, learn to sail and meet new people, our boats often have crewing opportunities on board. If you are interested, come down to the club by 3:00pm on Wednesday afternoon, and we will endeavour to get you a ride. Be aware that there are only limited places available.

If you are not a member of the club, or do not have an Australian Sailing number, you will need to take out a SailPASS membership, which entitles you to be a member of the club for the day, and covers you with personal accident insurance while on the water. The cost of a daily SailPASS is $15.00.

The Races are generally around a triangle course, with the Multihulls (Div 1) and faster Monohulls (Div 2) sailing three laps, while smaller or slower monos sail two laps of the course.

Don’t forget to come back to the club after the race to enjoy some refreshments and meet your fellow competitors.

The views were absolutely stunning - perched up nice and high to get a beautiful view of Airlie and its surrounding islands!! The location was secluded enough that we felt nice and tucked away but close enough that we could walk to the main street. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, had everything we needed and we all agreed the beds were some of the comfiest beds we had ever slept on. The check in and check out process was seamless and the hosts were great and gave us places to go and extra tips for our stay. We absolutely loved it!!

'Vue de Bleu' Luxury Whitsunday Retreat

If you want views this is the place 😍 Beautiful home with stunning views overlooking the Whitsunday islands.Every morning absolutely wonderful sunrises out every window facing the water. The home itself is modern and spacious. It was perfect for our family holiday, with 3 separate levels, which worked well for us. The swimming pool was clean and also had the same exquisite views. We watched boats head out to the islands and stingrays swim in the shallows at low tide all from the deck. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, loved our stay And thanks to our host Ali who was fabulous at recommending and booking some of our activities We did the Ocean rafting, it was a great way to see the islands. Also the flight over the reef …. Amazing

14 The Cove - Waterfront Whitsunday Home

We had an absolutely beautiful stay in Airlie Beach. The house was amazing and a beautiful location. There was so much to see and do - definite highlight was our day out on the water, where we saw whales, dolphins and turtles. Such a lovely holiday. We would highly recommend staying here and we definitely plan to return.
