The location was breathtaking, the quality of the apartment was fantastic and everywhere we looked was a postcard setting.

Felt at home in a well appointed apartment, with great views

The place was beautiful, well maintained and as described on the photos. Great for a family to stay and each room hard their own bathroom. If you want luxury this is your place and the view is incredible.
Close to town in a taxi approx, $7 to $17 dollars each way depending on time of day and how many people travelling. No Uber in the town! It’s a little to far to walk every day especially up the hill. (The views compensate for this though)
If going in holiday season and wishing to hire a car make sure you book well in advanced as you may not be able to hire a car in school holidays (we couldn’t) or you may have to pay a much higher price if you end up finding one.
Overall the place and host are fantastic just be well planned for the transport.

A truly spectacular property with absolutely everything we could have asked for and more. The location could not have been better, close to town, no hills and an exceptional view. Clean, tidy, perfect. The hosts went over and above to ensure our stay was fabulous, which it was. We will be back!

Terrific apartment and represents good value. Our family of 4 loved it. We valued being away from the noisey Main Street of Airlie Beach, and accepted the 350m walk uphill to the apartment (with an occasional $10 cab ride when we were out late!). Beautiful views and quiet apartments- mostly holiday rentals. BBQ and kitchen meant we combined eating out with beautiful home cooked seafood dinners. Pool and apartment balcony/terrace large but shaded from 10am. Made it coolish in winter but perfect for spring/summer stays. Hosts are responsive and very accommodating. Thanks for an awesome holiday - we’ll be back ;0)

We loved the Peninsula. Perfect for our family of 5. Would happily stay there again whenever we’re up in Airlie to visit

The location was truly amazing with breathtaking views. The apartment was generously sized. Excellent facilities inside the apartment with full kitchen and laundry. Tastefully decorated.
